The London Foundation For International Law
The London Foundation for International Law was incorporated in England in June 2018 with a view to promoting fairness in international affairs and good governance through the study of and research in international law and the use of innovative techniques in international law to resolve international disputes. It aims to provide speedy, cost-effective and bespoke counsel and consultancy services in a wide range of areas of international law, including international dispute resolution, trade and investment law and policy, international commercial and investment arbitration, and ocean law and policy.
The objective is also to provide executive training, to conduct pertinent research and to publish pioneering research and policy papers in these areas. Furthermore, the Foundation will organize conferences, seminars and forums to encourage dialogue and the sharing of information on significant international law and policy and good governance issues.
The founder Directors of the Foundation are Professor Surya P. Subedi, QC (Hon), OBE, Barrister, DPhil (Oxford) and Dr Ali Abusedra, LLB, LLM, PhD (Hull). They are supported by a distinguished advisory panel of experts in international law with experience of high-level work in governments, international organizations such as the United Nations and private practice.
